Download free sampleChoose fiction, nonfiction, or Interactive Fiction, give your book a title, and describe what you want it to cover. You can also provide reference material. After you sign in or create a free account, we generate a proposed table of contents and an opening section for you to review. Interactive Fiction previews only the first chapter.
When you are happy with the direction, order the full book. MixCache Go uses your request and preview as the starting point, then writes the remaining chapters automatically for fiction and nonfiction. Interactive Fiction waits for your direction between chapters. Your book is saved in your account library, ready to read on the website or download.
You can request fiction such as novels, mysteries, adventures, and stories for children, or nonfiction such as history, science, how-to guides, self-help, and memoirs. You might create a book for your own reading, develop a story idea, or prepare a manuscript to edit and publish. Interactive Fiction also lets you guide a novel chapter by chapter, shaping the story as you read.
Describe the audience, tone, setting, and subjects that matter to you. For a memoir or a specialized topic, provide the background information the AI will need rather than expecting it to know personal or unpublished details. Requests must follow our Terms of Service.
Choose Interactive Fiction and describe your premise. Preview Chapter I free, then purchase to continue. After each chapter, tell us what should happen next in your own words. We write one chapter using your direction and the story so far, then pause again. Continue at your own pace through Chapter XXVI, which brings the story to its ending.

Fiction and nonfiction previews include a proposed table of contents and either the introduction for a nonfiction book or the first chapter for a fiction book. This lets you assess the outline, writing style, and direction before ordering the rest. Interactive Fiction previews just Chapter I; future plot turns follow your decisions.
You need a free account to generate and save a preview, but no payment is required. Generating a preview does not commit you to buying the book.
Yes. Choose “Revise idea” from your preview to change the title, description, book type, or reference material, then generate a new preview. For example, you could ask for a more practical approach, a different audience, or greater emphasis on particular topics or characters.
Review the new outline and opening before proceeding. Revisions work by updating your request and regenerating the preview; the preview itself is not a text editor. Once you order fiction or nonfiction, the remaining chapters are written automatically. Interactive Fiction instead pauses for your direction before each new chapter.
Yes. Generated previews are saved to your account library, where you can reopen them to revise your idea or order the full book. You can keep up to six unpaid previews at a time.
If you reach that limit, order or delete an existing preview to make room for another. You can still revise an existing preview while at the limit. Deleting an unpaid preview does not remove your purchased books.
Yes. Use the optional reference material box to paste notes, research, timelines, character backgrounds, or other information you want the AI to use. You can also add plain-text (.txt) files, up to 100 KB in total per selection. Their contents are added to the reference box so you can review and edit the text before generating your preview.
Explain in the book description how the material should shape the book. For personal histories or niche subjects, include the key facts directly. File attachments must be plain text; convert material from PDFs or word-processing documents to text first.
Every book is $24.99. These are one-time purchases per book, with no subscription or recurring membership charge. You can generate and review your free preview before deciding to pay for the full book.
Each purchase covers one full book. Saving or revising an unpaid preview does not count as a book purchase. The price applicable to your account is shown before you pay.
Payments are handled through Stripe Checkout, which accepts major credit and debit cards. You complete payment on Stripe's hosted checkout page; MixCache Go does not collect your card number in the book request form.
After payment, you return to MixCache Go. Once payment is confirmed, fiction and nonfiction continue automatically from your preview. Interactive Fiction is ready in your library for your direction for Chapter II. A receipt is sent to your account email address.
Allow around 30 to 60 minutes for automatically written fiction and nonfiction, with longer waits possible when demand is high or generation needs to retry a chapter. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery time. Your library shows whether a book is queued, being written, or complete.
You do not need to keep the page open while the book is written. You can return to your library to read completed sections as work progresses, and we send an email when the full book is ready. Interactive Fiction moves at your pace: each chapter takes time to generate after you submit a direction, then waits for you again.
MixCache Go is designed for full-length books, typically around 40,000 to 100,000 words. Actual length varies with the topic and the AI's output; a specific word count is not guaranteed. Page count also depends on the font, page size, and layout you use.
The request form does not offer a custom word-count or chapter-count setting. You can describe the scope you want, but should not rely on the AI meeting an exact length requested in your description.
Books have a title page and table of contents, followed by the main text. Nonfiction is written as an introduction and 25 chapters; fiction uses 26 chapters, beginning directly with the story rather than a separate introduction. Interactive Fiction also has 26 chapters, listed as Chapter I through Chapter XXVI, with no advance plot outline.
Chapters are generated individually, using the book request and text written so far as context. The preview lets you review the proposed outline and opening before the rest is written.
Web search is enabled when generating nonfiction, giving the AI access to information beyond its existing knowledge. Fiction is generated without web search so it can focus on the story.
Search does not guarantee that every fact is correct, current, or complete, or that a particular source will be found. Supply essential information in your reference material, and check factual claims before relying on or publishing them.
MixCache Go generates text-only books. It does not generate illustrations, diagrams, or cover art, including for children's books. Asking for pictures in your description will still produce a text-only manuscript. You can add your own artwork later in your preferred editing or publishing tool.
Sign in to your account and open a book from your library to use the built-in web reader. You can read on a phone, tablet, or computer with a web browser, without installing an app.
You can also download your book as a plain-text (.txt) file with Markdown formatting for headings and emphasis. Save it for offline reading or open it in your preferred writing tool. Downloads are not supplied as PDF, EPUB, or print-ready layouts; those formats require a separate conversion or formatting step.
Yes. Under our Terms of Service, you retain your original inputs and own the generated content. You can use the downloaded manuscript as the basis for a book you publish or sell.
You are responsible for reviewing and editing the entire manuscript, fact-checking claims and sources, checking both supplied and generated material for copyright and other rights issues, and obtaining any necessary permissions before publishing or sharing it. We do not guarantee factual accuracy, originality, or freedom from infringement. You are also responsible for meeting your chosen publisher's or marketplace's rules, including any required AI-content disclosures, and for preparing its required file format and cover.
Yes. Download the plain-text manuscript and edit it in your preferred writing tool. You can rewrite passages, add personal experience, check facts, or prepare it for publication. The web reader is for reading your saved book; it is not a manuscript editor, and changes to a downloaded copy do not update the book in your online library.
Yes. You can order multiple books without waiting for an earlier one to finish. Each requires its own purchase, and each appears in your library with its writing status. The six-preview limit applies to unpaid previews, not to the number of books you can purchase.
AI can misunderstand instructions, introduce inconsistencies, repeat ideas, or invent facts. Detailed requests and reference material help guide the result, but cannot guarantee that every instruction will be followed exactly. The free preview is your opportunity to check the approach before purchasing.
Treat the finished book as a manuscript to review, especially for personal accounts, technical subjects, and factual claims. You remain responsible for checking and editing the content before publication or distribution.
Yes. Your use of the service and the books you create are your business and are not publicized without your consent.
Your requests and book content are stored to provide the service, and information is processed by service providers, including AI providers, as needed to generate your book and operate your account. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling and the circumstances in which information may be shared, including legal requirements.
Check your library for the book's status first. If payment is still being confirmed, allow time for that confirmation before trying again. If you have been charged but cannot find your book, or writing appears to have stopped, contact info@mixcache.com with your account email, book title, and a description of what happened.
For billing questions, include your receipt details if available. Please do not send card numbers or passwords. You can also visit our support page for help.
